BRAND STRATEGY
During my time as the Publishing Director at SVRN, I was able to create the brand strategy and image for for the company that they continue to use today. I started by creating a well-rounded brand identity that helped elevate SVRN in comparison to its competitors. The brand identity statement was:
SVRN is a catalyst for self expression that serves as a cultural hub and creative outlet with global outreach. Built by a team of people that take pride in their different interests within
the industry, we pioneer the intersectionality between fashion, music, art and design.
Based on this statement, the team was able to weave all creative and technical assets back to our identity, creating cohesion and a visible personality that resulted in an increase in brand awareness on social media (increase in followers and engagement) as well as more purchases in-store and online.
I also helped create various content pillars for our written editorials and TikTok to ensure quality content that tied back to our brand identity. This created an easy to follow formula for our writers and content creators that would have our identity at its core.
One of my favorite experiences was ideating and writing SVRN’s 10 year growth plan. This deck included information about who SVRN was, where they came from and where they wanted to expand. For this project I worked on our brand story, brand image, customer profiles, social data display, market research for expansion opportunities and goals for the future. I also wrote a finalized pitch to vendors to approve store openings in different locations.
